Who Can Apply?
Eligibility as of January 1, 2025:
- Age: 18–40 years (general). Relaxations:
- SC/ST/EWS/PwBD: Up to 43 years.
- Ex-Servicemen: Up to 48 years.
- Education:
- ASO: Likely M.Sc./PG Diploma in forensic science or related fields.
- Computer Assistant: Any graduate/diploma.
- Laboratory Attendant: 12th pass or higher.
- Other Posts: Vary from 12th to M.Sc./PG Diploma.
- Domicile: Must have a valid J&K domicile certificate issued before September 2, 2025.
- Documents: Category certificates (SC/ST/EWS/PwBD), NOC (for government/PSU employees).

- Visit jkssb.nic.in and click “Recruitment” or “Latest Advertisement.”
- Find Advt. No. 6 of 2025.
- Register with email/mobile for a registration number/password.
- Log in, fill out personal/educational details.
- Upload:
- Recent photo (not older than 6 months).
- Signature.
- Domicile certificate.
- Educational/category certificates.
- Pay the fee online:
- Two-stage exam: Rs 700 (Rs 600 for SC/ST/EWS/PwBD).
- Single-stage exam: Rs 600 (Rs 500 for SC/ST/EWS/PwBD).
- Submit and download the form.

Selection Process
