Talking about the SSC CGL exam, this is for Grade B posts with Central government departments. These are also under various Ministries of the Central government. All those who are aspiring to become Officers with various Departments through SSC must be knowing that the Commission had to delay the exam this time. Last year, on 29th December 2020, the Commission released notification and started the application process for the candidates to appear for the selection. Since the recruitment of candidates under SSC CGL is a long process, the Commission had kept the Tier I exams in May 2021. These were to take place from 29th May to 7th June 2021. You must also be aware that the second wave of the pandemic affected all selection processes and examinations. Thus, the Staff Selection Commission also postponed the CGL exams, along with CHSL and SI exams for the time being. Now, the Commission is about to conduct the Tier I exams from 13th August to 24th August 2021.
