Educational Requirements

Those candidates who wish to apply for the Community Health Officer posts have to follow the below-mentioned requirements.

  • They should have obtained a Certificate in B.Sc Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing on Community Health Course. This should be from a recognized institute that is registered with the Punjab Nursing Registration Council. Or, they should have a certificate of 6 months of training in the above-mentioned courses recognized by the same council.
  • Secondly, the candidate has to be an Ayurvedic Practioner, with a course certificate of 6 months in Community Health. This should be under a recognized institute.
  • They should have studied Punjabi till Class 10.

Talking about the age, as of 1st January 2021, the candidate should be from 18 years till 37 years of age. Also, the Punjab government has some age relaxations which you can check from the website.
